Today We're going to show you how to create simple Web-Buttons in Photoshop..

Corner-cut Tabstyle Button:

1- Create a new shape using rectangle tool as shown in the image below.

2-Now select Anchor point tool and add anchor point to the side of rectangle where you want to give it the cut effect.

Here's what we should have by now.

3- Now select Convert point tool (as shown in the image below) and click on where u added the anchor point.

4- Now using Direct Selection Tool click on top corner point and move it around with either mouse or arrow keys to get the desired effect.

Final Image:

Rounded Tab Button:

1- Create a new shape using Rounded Rectangle tool.

2- Add Anchor points on both sides of rectangle just like we did above.

3- Select the Convert Point Tool and click on each of the Anchor Points.

4- Now select Direct Selection Tool to create a selection around the two bottom-most anchor points. The points should turn to filled squares.

5- Hit Backspace or Delete and you should have your Rounded Tab Button.

You can play around with different styles and effects to get the effect you want.
